Question Parameters

Answer Types:

 Users can respond to questions with different answer types, including Text, Numeric, or making selections from a list, presented as either Radiobuttons or Dropdown List Boxes (Combos).

Answer Sets:

In instances where answers are chosen from a list, known as an Answer Set, two types are available:
Shared Answer Set: Utilised across multiple templates.
Local Answer Set: Restricted for use in a single template.

Notices:

Questions and Sections can include Notices, presenting additional information when tapped or clicked. This feature is versatile, offering the option to provide detailed instructions or safety information, enriching the user experience.

Alerts:

The feature incorporates Alerts, delivering immediate user messages based on specific question responses. As users fill out a form, a popup message appears in response to a particular answer, enhancing real-time interaction.

Publish Template

Checking and publishing your Form Templates is the final step for quality assurance. Utilise the ‘Check’ button in the toolbar to review the form for potential issues before proceeding. Once satisfied, pressing the ‘Publish’ button finalises the process, making the form template visible and ready for user submission. This ensures a controlled and error-free release of Form Templates in the 2iB platform, accessible for users to view, use, and submit forms via the 2iB Connect Mobile App or 2iB OS. When creating a new form template, its details and structure remain hidden until explicitly published, and changes made in the template editor do not take immediate effect.

Answer Sets

Answer set options include plain and graphical radio buttons, list boxes, free text fields, numeric, dates and times. Styling options for answer sets and table data include colour and icon selection for easy recognition of status and issues.

Create custom answer sets or share common sets across your forms, if you are already using the Rapid Platform for application delivery access these data tables. I.E project name, personnel name or equipment names.

What Is the Capture Form Builder

The Capture application is used to create and manage digital forms, the intutitive form builder is used to create and manage form templates, answer sets and metrics. 

Can I import Word, PDF Excel forms?

You can import csv templates directly into Capture form builder. The importing of MS word and pdf documents is not supported.

Are there a limit for the number of templates used.

There is no limit to the number of forms or templates that can be created there is a storage data limit of 10GB for the standard subscription. an additional data is available at a nominal value.

Is there a limit for the number of answer sets used.

There is no limit to the number of answer sets that can be created with the form builder. You can create custom answer sets that are applicable for a single form, standard or common answer sets that are used across all forms.

Can i apply multiple metrics to a form template.

Yes the ability to track more than one metric on a form is essential.  Using multiple metrics allow you to trend multiple data points from Submitted forms. An equipment prestart form has a number of inspection questions with different risk profiles, these questions can be assigned a high, medium and of low risk metric so you can trend and analysis these three metrics separately.
